Mana Fashion Services Presents ‘Zero Waste Workshop’ by Pangea
The one-day sustainability workshop and community clothing swap will take place at Ocho Blanco Loft.
Join Mana Fashion Services for a fun and educational ‘Zero Waste Workshop’ this Thursday from 5-8pm at Mana Common’s event and innovation space in Downtown Miami, Ocho Blanco.
The workshop will be led by Pangea Kali Virga, an enthusiastic creator whose work spans many sides of the fashion and art industry. She is a fashion designer, stylist, curator, and producer with high standards and a conceptual spirit. Her aim is to build collaborative networks and moving experiences through her work and all projects while uplifting the community and showcasing sustainable practices.
Guests will explore how to reuse and remake old items into new wearable pieces using scraps, dead stock, or vintage materials. A fashion community clothing swap and cocktail hour will follow.
It is recommended that attendees bring items they would like to upcycle and one or two items to exchange for the ‘Swap Shop’. Upcycling tools will be provided.
